PowerPoint - Developing your Brand's Graphic Identity
This presentation showcases the development of a brand's graphic identity using my personal style guide as example. I created a master template that incorporates the graphics, color palette, and typography unique to Studio-MZ. Designed for individual instruction, this detailed and comprehensive presentation includes slides with in-depth information. The presentation features animations and looping background music (you can adjust before presenting), but no voiceover.
Google Slides - Emerging Roles in Digital Marketing
This example demonstrates a streamlined presentation format with a concise number of slides and minimal text. The voiceover, performed by a contracted human voice actor, reflects the speaker’s notes as if presenting in-person. Background music loops behind the slide voiceover, and the animations are synchronized with the spoken parts. I also published an article on this topic in my Creative's Toolkit LinkedIn newsletter. The story is linked below.
Canva Pro - Understanding the Web Programming Environment
This presentation was developed using Canva Pro, an online content creator that offers access to premium content, design tools, and AI-powered features. I started with a template and fully customized it with my own graphics, background music, and animations.
This detailed presentation, which runs just over 14 minutes, is designed to function as a lecture. Although I am not a professional voiceover artist, I narrated the presentation as I would in a classroom setting. The second slide features a voiceover performed by an AI text-to-speech tool, utilizing emotion-based voice modulation to simulate the voice of Sir Tim Berners-Lee, the inventor of the World Wide Web.
The content is in-depth, allowing viewers to revisit and glean specific technical information about web programming as needed. The final presentation was converted to an MP4 and uploaded to my Vimeo page. It is embedded here with standard streaming controls for any viewport.
Visme - How to Create a Marketing Brief
Visme is a versatile online content creation tool that features advanced AI tools. For this project, I customized an existing template with my own images, color palette, and design elements to demonstrate the process. This streaming presentation is designed for an individual online experience. It includes background music that I supplied, animations I created, and voiceovers performed by an AI text-to-speech tool with emotion-based voice modulation. I used this feature selectively across a few slides to showcase its effectiveness.
Keynote (Apple iWork) - Attracting Traffic to Web Sites Thru Social Media
Keynote, a Mac- and iPad-based presentation software, is part of Apple's iWork productivity suite. Many users prefer Keynote over PowerPoint for its media-driven capabilities, allowing for smoother integration of audio, video, and music files. While PowerPoint is excellent for data-centric presentations and supports multimedia, the experience is often more seamless with Keynote.
This presentation is from a 2014 Emory class, part of my social media curriculum for the Digital Marketing program. Although it contains some dated references, the Old Spice case study (at 3:30 on my video but here is their link) remains particularly relevant and engaging. Throughout the multi-day course, I used this extensive presentation to explore various ideas related to social media marketing. I frequently revisited it as we transitioned into new sections of the course, making it a central resource for our discussions. I exported the Keynote into a video and uploaded to my Vimeo account for easy sharing here.
Microsoft's OneDrive / Powerpoint - Constructing the Digital Marketing Plan
This is a clip from a weekly one-hour online class for my Digital Marketing Program at Emory University. I wanted to showcase the versatility of using a PowerPoint presentation in various ways. I start by creating a PowerPoint deck in my desktop app, which serves as the foundation. Then, I enhance it with special animations I create in Adobe After Effects (the opening here), add my voiceover, and edit it in Adobe Premiere Pro before converting it to an MP4. This version is uploaded to my Vimeo channel for streaming and sharing here.
These presentations are integral to the online curriculum hosted on the Canvas LMS. Each lecture PowerPoint undergoes several transformations to maximize the use of the content:
1) I convert it into a downloadable PDF in the LMS.
2) I also link it via OneDrive for live viewing embedded within the LMS.
3) I add a transcript for those who prefer reading there as well.
4) I prerecord audio for the slides and merge them into an MP4 video format (this demo is trimmed from an hour's lecture to about nine minutes).
5) Throughout the video (available to students in the LMS), I embed live knowledge checks at strategic intervals to aid students after the live lecture in preparation for weekly quizzes.

The aim of this diverse content delivery is to provide flexibility for students who attended the live lecture or those who were absent, allowing them to engage with the material in the format that best suits their learning style.
